Your energy needs, and a plan that starts there

Rhybi works out calories and macros from your basal metabolic rate and activity level. Then it drafts a plan that's yours to correct.

The Rhybi Today screen: the day's meals with the quantities from the plan.
  • Basal metabolic rate and activity

Your BMR comes from the Mifflin-St Jeor formula, then your activity level is applied. Choose cutting, maintenance or bulking.

  • Or enter your own numbers

If you already have targets, type them in. Rhybi checks that calories and macros add up.

  • A calculated draft plan

Your energy needs turn into a draft with portions already worked out. It respects allergies, intolerances, exclusions and diet type, with separate training and rest days.

  • No plan needed

Keep a food diary only, with targets from your energy needs. «What do I eat» suggests a dish in grams, and later meals adapt if you eat something else.

Questions we get

How are calorie needs calculated?

It starts from your basal metabolic rate, based on weight, height, age and sex. That's multiplied by your activity level, and your goal moves it up or down.

Does a calculated plan replace a nutritionist?

No. It's a calculated draft, not a prescription, and Rhybi gives no medical advice. If a nutritionist follows you, they write the plan.

Is the calculator free?

Yes. Energy needs and the portions worked out from them are free, and use no credits.
